SparkHope, a project of Starbucks and UNICEF, is an adopt-a-barangay program that provides early childhood care and learning.
I wanted to express the world of play in children — immersed in the flow and joy of imagination. I created a parallel landscape with dreamy splashes of watercolors and doodles. I mostly used green and blue colors to make it refreshing to the eyes, adding in orange and pinkish accents on some of the text. To give the composition a bit of stability, I used brown tones for the bottom panels. It was great working on this project and see it posted in Starbucks branches across Metro Manila.
