I always look forward to working with Charles because every exhibit is a progression of ideas. It motivates me to dive deeper into the concepts he's working on, expanding my knowledge and challenging my assumptions. His exhibits never offer an answer, but a being in the moment and feeling the same kind of uncertainty or innocent awe he is in. Charles is earnest in seeking out the questions, courageous in laying out his work for all to see.
This is the order of exhibits that I've worked with him, from his first to third. Please click on the links to see the exhibit notes and full documentation:
Reality is a Hologram / Artinformal Gallery
Destination Unknown / West Gallery
Unending Void / Art Informal Gallery
Into Space / Pablo Gallery
Known for colorful, geometric illustrations for editorial and commercial clients, this exhibit by Dan is an exciting departure from his usual style. He experiments with ultra minimalist expressions of landscapes made in strokes of black ink screen-printed on textured paper. His sculptures feature worlds breaking up and about to be consumed into oblivion.
In this exhibit, Dan explores his love for storytelling and space. He shares photos of this exhibit at his website
Echoes and Repetitions / Pablo Post Gallery
For this show, Pauline uses illustration and video projection to face down the "mistakes and failures" of the past. The images may be startling, but it only shows that the artist is courageous and adept in her expression. When not creating art for exhibition, Pauline is a motion, sound and graphic designer.
